Post World War Two the Italian Army was issued with a lot of American gear. This Italian jacket was made in Italy and issued during the 1970-1990's. These are similar in appearance to an American M43 jacket with its own Italian flavour.
The main difference between these and their American counterparts is the chest pockets. They are designed to fit magazines - perfect for many modern smartphones or airsoft! Both the chest and the waist pockets are equipped with snap dome closure. The front has a full length buttoned opening and a storm flap to prevent them catching on anything. To help further the military lifespan these also have reinforced elbows which still allow a great range of movement in the arms. Italy as you can imagine can be quite hot so the armpits have 3 ventilation holes to allow your jacket to breath.
